HOW TO GET RID OF TUMMY FAT IN THREE EASY STPEPS

It has happened to all of us, we put on a few pounds then a special occasion comes up, like a wedding or a reunion and when we go and try and on that dress that we bought a year ago, because it was on sale, that is just perfect for the occasion, we find that it is too-tight.

In this article, how to get rid of tummy fat fast, I am going to lay out steps that anyone, man or woman, can use to be able to fit into that special outfit, however, there is one catch, this is not a long term plan, simply one to be used for times when you need to lose a few pounds in a hurry!

O.K. lets get started!

One more thing for the sake of this article I’m going to assume you have a week to drop the extra weight you need to for the special occasion outfit to fit, if you have more time, great, however if you have less, don’t despair these tips will still work you just won’t lose as much weight.

The first step is simple and you can start doing it right now, simply stand up straight (you can also do it seating as well) and take a deep breath through your nose now let it all out through your mouth, and imagine you are trying to zip up that tight dress or pair of pants.

Suck in your stomach as far as you can, hold it for a count, and then let go.

This simple movement works the transverse abdominals and when done regularly, especially right after getting up in the morning before you’ve eaten can reduce your waist by up to one inch!

It’s not magic, just the fact that your working those muscles.

You can also do this movement throughout the day, and I would recommend this if you are in a hurry to lose as much as you can around your waist, however if you are looking for the most bang for your tummy-flattening-buck do your deep breathing/stomach vacuums first thing in the morning.

Start off doing only a few and work up until you are doing about 5-10 minutes worth in the morning.

An added benefit of doing this movement is that it helps to condition the upper abs as well.

Also, this a good method to remind yourself not to over-eat, whenever you find your self, craving or reaching for something, you know you should have, suck your stomach in 5-10 times, this serves a duel purpose, first it will help get your mind off food and second it will help to remind you of what you are doing all this for.

The second step is to go on a low carb diet, the reason being that this will cause you to lose excess water which should make you a little bit smaller.

The simplest way to do this is just to cut out all sweets and breads and eat basically meat, salads, and vegetables for the week.

As I said above it may not be the healthiest thing to do, but you should be o.k. if you only do it for one week or so.

My last step is simply to try and walk as much as possible, I know it doesn’t sound like much, but when you just start a low-carb diet and are stressed as it is about the special occasion the last thing you need is to start a full blown exercise program.

And besides walking burns calories and can be fit in anytime, on the treadmill, during a lunch hour, and before and after work.

When you are trying to squeeze in a special outfit, every ounce of movement helps.

3 Fat Loss Secrets Exposed

Notice in the title of this post I said fat loss and not weight loss, I did this for one main reason; there are no weight loss secrets.

If you are scratching you head at this point, let me explain.
You see we all know the secret of weight loss, or losing weight if you will.

How?

Simple, who hasn’t at one point or another been invited to a wedding or had a reunion coming up.
And also had that special dress they wanted to fit into or pair of jeans that that they wanted to wear.
Guess what happens—weight loss!

We’ve all done it; we starve our selves the week before the special occasion and exercise like mad.
Come the big day we may be hungry, tired, and flat-out exhausted but the dress fits and the jeans zip.

So everything’s cool right?

Wrong!

Sure this approach works and while we do lose some fat, most of what comes off is water and muscle, and this is bad because muscle is the most metabolically active substance on the body, meaning it burns calories while your watching T.V.

Sure fat burns calories as well, just not as many, which is why you want to shed the fat and keep the muscle, which is why I chose fat loss in the title as opposed to weight loss.

Before I tell you the first of the three secrets, I’d like to point out that this article is just that an article and not the end-all-be-all of fat loss information, however it is a good place to start.

However, if your anything thing like me you want something you can use today, right now, to begin you on your fat loss journey, so lets get started!
The first secret is protein, now before you start thinking this is going to be some high protein low carb plan, relax, the reason protein comes first is because it has a ton of benefits.
The first being that without adequate protein for repair and growth all those exercise sessions you do will be for nothing because your body will eventually begin to use itself, (your muscles) to supply itself with the protein it needs.

Fortunately there is a simple solution to this problem, simply eat protein; around one gram per pound of bodyweight should do it for most people. So that means if say you are 100 pounds that means you would need one-hundred grams of protein.

Good sources include skinless chicken breasts, turkey, eggs, and lean beef.
Protein is also valuable because of the thermogenic effect of food, that is the amount of calories it takes for the body to break down and digest a particular food.
And good for us protein has the highest thermogenic effect when compared to fat and carbohydrates. I’ve read that the thermogenic effect accounts for 30 of proteins calories, now in truth I don’t know if it’s that high, but nevertheless, it just warrants it to be repeated again, make sure you eat your protein.

Now that’s not to say that the weight is just going to fall off you but every little bit helps.
Now for my second secret, fiber, no it is not just good for helping keep your regular, it also slows down the rate a which food enters your bloodstream, which keeps you from having the yo-yo effect where your blood sugar is high one minute and low the next, making you ravenously hungry and more likely to over eat.

There are two kinds of fiber, soluble and insoluble, soluble fiber may help lower blood cholesterol and can be found in oats, beans, peas, citrus fruits, strawberries, and apple pulp to name a few of the sources.

Insoluble fiber can aid in getting and keeping regular bowel movements and can be found in foods like: whole-wheat breads, wheat bran, rye, rice, beets, and carrots.
Also fiber has the added benefit of making you feel full longer, which can help you eat less.
And for my last secret may I present--- carbohydrates. Now for those of you out there who are low carb people all the way, relax, let me explain.

Carbohydrates as a whole are not all bad, if, and this is the point, you stick to the unprocessed ones like sweet potatoes, beans, brown rice, and vegetables and fruit.

Natural unprocessed foods like these are loaded with fiber, which as I stated above is great when you are trying to lose weight, vitamins and various other healthful nutrients.

Plus as an added benefit, when you eat mainly unprocessed foods like this along with plenty of lean protein and water, you’ll find that you get full faster, suffer from cravings less, because your blood sugar is more stable, and do to the bulk of these foods, generally just eat less.
Now am I saying that you can’t have some junk food everyday, or that you still won’t get cravings, no way!

However, this style of eating will over the long term will get you lean and keep you lean, along with giving you plenty of energy.

Detox--Well maybe not

A frend asked me to check out one of those joint products you see on the infomercials and while I was checking the product out I ran across a forum and a ton of people were posting about this product and one another.

However, this was not the interesting thing.

I noticed that a lot of people were saying how they were feeling better and all that, however, when I continued on down there post, I noticed something.

it would go something like,

Well, I started this detox program and I'm eating healthier and drinking more water and I havent' felt this good in years.

Now I'm happy that these people are feeling better, but the thing is, I don't think much of there improvement had anythig to do with the detox product.

It was the fact that they started eating healthier and drinking more water and doing other healthy stuff.

So the next time someone tells you about this great new product that you just have to try, ask them what they've been doing in additon to taking this product.

Diet Programs = More Sex

Sex we all know that its everywhere, now before you think I have my mind in the gutter, let me explain.

Sex is more that just well sex, its also about being thought of as sexy by the opposite sex or people of the same sex for that matter.

Or feeling sexy, and quiete frankly to me this is the biggest form of sexy there is, why?

Simple, do you think anyone is going to find YOU yes YOU sexy and want to hang out with you and yes eventually have sex with you if YOU don't find YOURSELF sexy, no way!

O.K. so what does this all have to do with diet programs, or just diet in general, well, lets face it, you can exercise till you are blue in the face (not to mention sore and bored) but if you go out and eat junk food all the time, you will never get the body you want.

So to me the best bet for anyone is to sit down and really be honest about what they want, are you looking to simply lose a few pounds or do you need to build some muscle.

Once you have this info you can then for a plan of action.

Now to me nothing is sexier and more attractive that a body that has some hard earned muscle on it, and ladies don't think for one minute that your man won't notice because he will, now I'm not talking about the women in the muscle magazines, because most woman will never acheive that level of muscle mass.

However a couple pounds of hard earned muscle will only help you look better in your clothes and most of all as I talked about above you will know you are looking hot so you will project this, and also, I can't help but thinking that this will make you more confident which can't hurt you in the business world either.

DIET BLOWOUTS

Your sitting a work minding your own business and then it happens.

Didn't you hear that its fred's birthday and Sue baked brownies why don't you go have one.

Now this wouldn't be so bad expect for one thing, you are on a diet, and things have been going well, in fact, you've lost 5 pounds.

But as you sit there thinking, well, it would be rude to not have a brownie after all Sue did bake them herself and we all know how hard baking is.

So guess what you decide to go have a brownie, and well, surprise surprise, Joe decided to suprise everyone and go out and by pizza, so well you can't be rude to Joe, and so you have a couple pieces of pizza and well that brownie was really good and Sue did work hard at them...and on and on.

Now by this poin't when you finally get back to your desk your stuffed with junk food and pizza.

However, this is not the bad part.

Now as you sit there thinking, dang I blew my diet and things were going soooooo well, you say to yourslef, "Well, I've blown it so I might as well go to that burger joint at lunch and try there new hardcore mega sandwhich."

Of course things on go worse from there, because on your way back from lunch you notice the news stand and you stop in, and think, man I haven't had a chocolate bar in weeks, so you buy, well, not just one but three bars. You know for those times when you just want to treat yourself.

Fast forward to the cady bars at your desk, you've already have chomped down on one, and those other two bars are calling to you, so guess what, you had them both.

Now fast forward to dinner, you hit the nearest drive through and try their latest sandwhich.

Do you see where I am going with this, of course I am making this up, but we've all had days like this, now I'm not going to lie and say you've going to gain a massive quantity of weight from one day because you are not, but, it is just more even if it is only a pound, that you will have to start taking off the next day.

When most people go on a FAT LOSS, or WEIGHT LOSS program, or heck even just try and eat healthy they are eager for the fat and pounds to drop off.

Now when someone first starts cutting calories and they lose a BIG amount weight the first week they get all excited, however, this is nothing more than just water weight at leat the VAST magority of it is.

O.K. so the first week passes and now things start to slow down to just a couple of pounds per week, now this is when a lot off people get bummed out and stop dieting.

But the truth of it is really all you want to be losing per week is a pound two max, if this doesn't sound like much, think about it this way. First you want most if not all the weight you lose to be fat, not muscle and if you lose too much weight per week, chances are some of it is going to be muscle.

This is why exercise when dieting is so critical, because the body only keeps what it needs to.

For example if you weren't exercising your body might say, well he/she is not using any of this muscle, so we will get rid of it.

Of course when you are exercising your body will be like, well we can't get rid of any of this muscle, be it is being used.

And again, I said it in my last post, but it needs to be repeated, lifting weights is critical because this will not allow you to keep the muscle you have, but to also gain muscle as well.

So the next time you look at the scale and it has barley moved, think it through like this, o.k. I may not be losing it fast but I won't be losing much muscle this way so I'll be better of than when I started.
